Naraz [Angry]

Naraz has many references that reflect the resenting virtue of Rahat Indori. A lyricist of films par excellence, and a master of literature in college, he is a famous poet loved by all – who also accomplishes in playing with colours and lines. Besides all these traits, he is also able to discern the inner and outer dilemmas of people against the political and social backdrop.
All such virtues of his personality can be perceived explicitly in his ghazals. The nature of his poetry is defiant and sarcastic, which evidently is an analysis of social situations in the form of ghazals. The language of Rahat Indori’s poems is a reflection of his Sufism, which pervades his ideology. The courage to create his own style, different from the prevailing vocabulary and style of expression, has had him draw the periphery of his existence. It is Rahat’s belief on personal observation and experiences that creates the beauty of his craft.
